Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has released the QS World University Rankings 2019, pitting the world’s best and brightest against each other to see which institutions came out on top.

American powerhouse, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) tops the list for a record 7th year in a row, outshining prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, University of Oxford and University of Cambridge.

Meanwhile, Malaysian universities continue to show massive advancements in the rankings as 5 of our homegrown institutions were named among the Top 300 universities in the world. What’s more, University Malaya (UM) has broken into the Top 100 universities in the world!
