About UTMSPACE

UTM School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE), was founded in 1993 at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)’s main campus in Johor Bahru. UTMSPACE was established after UTM’s proposal to provide an institution for Professional and Further Education to the Ministry of Education Malaysia. With the goal of providing a platform for employed individuals to pursue higher education, UTMSPACE aims to bridge the gap between academic pursuits and professional commitments.

Situated in Johor Bahru, UTMSPACE JB initially offered only professional development programmes such as short courses, seminars, workshops and in-house training. However, due to the demand for part-time educational opportunities, UTMSPACE began to offer programmes such as engineering, architecture, accounting and science. Additionally, UTMSPACE collaborates with private colleges to offer UTM Joint Programs and provides transnational programs, broadening access to higher education.

Campus Location

UTMSPACE Johor Bahru is situated in Skudai, a development area that houses various amenities in the city centre, such as restaurants, banks and shopping malls. The campus is also accessible by bus.

Courses Offered
