About Southern University College

Southern University College (Southern UC), formerly known as Southern College, was founded in 1990 as Malaysia’s first non-profit higher education institution. Southern UC attained university college status in 2012, following the approval from the Ministry of Higher Education. Southern UC was first established to offer a local educational tertiary institution for high school graduates unable to pursue their studies abroad or gain admission to other institutions.

Located in Skudai, Johor Bahru, Southern UC offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and PhD in fields such as Engineering, Information Technology, Chinese Medicine, Chinese Studies, Business and Social Sciences. Furthermore, Southern UC also offers vocational education, short courses and corporate training.

Campus Location

Located in Skudai, Southern UC is conveniently located near various amenities such as restaurants, shopping malls and sports centres. Additionally, the campus can be accessed through highways and public transportation such as buses.
