Entry Requirements
- STPM: Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects
- STAM: At least Grade Jayyid
- A Level: Minimum 2 Passes of minimum Grade D in the relevant subjects
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B in 5 subjects
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 subjects
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Average of 70% in 2 relevant subjects (and 4 other subjects)
- The TVET diplomas such as Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM):
- The DKM/DLKM/DVM must be fully accredited by MQA
- Required a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or CGPA 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in relevant field subject to Senate/Academic Boards approval
- Students will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure
- Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect
- Foundation in the relevant field, UTAR: At least CGPA 2.0
- Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning: At least CGPA 2.0
- Matriculation Certificate, Ministry of Education: At least CGPA 2.0
- Diploma from Institutions of Higher Learning: At least CGPA 2.0
- Advanced Diploma: At least CGPA 2.0
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
- General Requirements: All applicants will be required to attend an internal assessment on creative thinking
Logical Thinking Test:
- Applicants must take a logical thinking test, either in person at the university or online. If the test is taken online, the student will be proctored online. A detailed description of the testing procedures and submission of responses will be provided
- The panel reserves the right to invite the applicant for an interview if questions arise.
- Note: Exemption from the requirement to attend an internal assessment will be considered for applicants with Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications
