Entry Requirements

  • Foundation in Science: CGPA 3.0 including a minimum of B in Chemistry
  • Ministry of Education Matriculation: CGPA 3.0 including a minimum of B in Chemistry
  • STPM: CGPA 3.0 with BBB or ABC or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, including a minimum of B in Chemistry
  • A Level: BBB or ABC or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of B in Chemistry
  • Diploma in Pharmacy: CGPA 3.5 or above
  • Diploma in Science (Chemistry/Biology/Physics): CGPA 3.75 including a minimum of B in Chemistry
  • Degree in Science: CGPA 2.75 or above
  • UEC: Pass UEC with minimum of B4 in 5 subjects in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Additional Mathematics (or one other subject)
  • Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT)/High School Certificate - Sydney Australia/Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY)/NSW Higher Education Certificate (HSC, Year 12)/Northern Territory Certificate Education (NTCE, Year 12)/South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)/South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/Tertiary Entrance Education (TEE)/Trinity College Foundation/University of NSW Foundation/Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE, Year 12)/Western Australian Curriculum Council: Minimum aggregate or TER/UAI/ENTER/ATAR of 80% including in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of B in Chemistry or equivalent
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU)/Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP): Minimum aggregate of 80% including Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics with a minimum of B in Chemistry or equivalent
  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Pass IB with minimum score of 30 (exclusive of bonus points) with two Science or Mathematics subjects at Higher Level (HL) and another one Science subject at Standard Level (SL), and a minimum score of 4 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics
  • Other equivalent qualifications: Will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Additional Requirements:

  • For Foundation in Science, Matriculation, and Diploma students: Pass SPM with a minimum of 5Bs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics), and one other subject
  • All Malaysian citizens to pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with minimum of Grade C in SPM or equivalent
  • Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with minimum Band score of 3 or
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scoring 550 or
  • International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) with minimum of Band 6 (5.5 for each skill Writing, Reading, Listening/Speaking) or
  • Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests (Linguaskill) with minimum score of 154
