Course Highlights
- Early clinical exposure, with 3 to 6 weeks of hospital postings in your first 2 years
- Shadow Housemanship in Year 5, where you are attached to a houseman and follow them like a shadow, and will have the opportunity of being in operating theatres and practise simple tasks like taking blood samples or cleaning wounds
- Opportunity to study Special Study Modules (SSM) which will provide you with early exposure to research for postgraduate studies
- Unique curriculum involving the community, including R.E.D. Association (AIMST students raise funds to help the underprivileged students) and medical camps (AIMST students volunteering at villages 7-8 weekends a year)

Entry Requirements
- A Level/STPM: Grades BBB, ABC or AAC in 3 subjects i.e. Biology and Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics. (Grade C can only be in either Physics or Mathematics)
- AIMST Foundation in Science/Matriculation/Foundation in Science/Pre-medical course (course ≥ 1 year in the same institution): CGPA 3.0 (out of 4) in 3 subjects i.e. Biology and Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics
- UEC: B4 each in 5 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics
- UNSW Foundation/MUFY/Western Australia Curriculum Council/HSC Sydney Australia/Trinity College Foundation Studies/Australian Universities Foundation Programmes/South Australian Matriculation/Victorian Certificate of Education, Australia Year 12/Ausmat:
- Aggregate or average of 80% or equivalent of B in 3 subjects i.e. Biology and Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics OR
- 80% ATAR provided the subjects include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics
- National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3/New Zealand Bursary: Average of 80% in 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics
- CPU/CIMP/Canadian Grade 12/13/Ontario Secondary School Diploma Grade 12: Average of 80% in 3 subjects i.e. Biology and Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
- Indian Pre-University: Average of 70% in 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics
- International Baccalaureate (IB): 30 points with a minimum of 2 science subjects or Mathematics at Higher Level (HL) and 1 science subject at Standard Level and attained a minimum score of 4 each in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics
- Diploma in Health Sciences (course ≥ 2 1/2 years or 5 semesters in the same institution): CGPA ≥ 3.5 (out of 4) with min of 2Bs each in Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Physics AND 3 credits each in English and Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics) and another subject at School Certificate level.
- Degree in Health or Pure or Applied Sciences: CGPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4)
- Degree in the Arts or Humanities: CGPA ≥ 3.5 (out of 4)
- MUET: Band 4
