So you want to take the road most travelled (job-wise), which is why you're making the smart decision of choosing a career in accountancy. Congratulations, this solid yet ever-changing field promises nothing but success!
Get a headstart on your rewarding future by enrolling in INTEC Education College's Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) course or Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) course under the ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification, the ACA.
Registration for the June 2019 intake for both programmes are now open, so don’t miss this great opportunity.
What you need to know about CAT
The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification is a technician level course under the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a professional accounting qualification developed in the UK.
This course will allow you to gain theoretical and practical experience in accountancy, IT and management. After the 1-year CAT programme, you'll be a pro at recording financial transactions and managing costs and finance, which will give you a headstart should you wish to study ACCA after.
What you need to know about ACA
Meant for pros, the highly-respected ACA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) will transform you into a top chartered accountant after studying it for 3 to 5 years.
But before you launch yourself into the ACA programme, you'll first need to pursue the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB), a certificate-level qualification from ICAEW. This 1-year programme will drill the essentials of finance, accounting and business into you, making you ready to take on the ACA once you've completed it.
