It’s been a jubilant year for Taylor’s University as they moved to the 109th position in the QS Asia University Rankings 2020 — a big jump from their 135th position the year before.
As a leading education provider, this landmark victory boosts the status of Taylor’s as Malaysia’s leading private university for employer reputation in the QS World University Rankings 2020. At the same time, it was also awarded the prestigious 5-star overall rating, making it the best Malaysian private university in the QS Stars University Ratings 2019 – 2022 exercise.
Vice Chancellor and President Professor Michael Driscoll of Taylor’s University looks to this success as an affirmation that Taylor’s University is on track with its approach to teaching and research.
"The new Taylor's Curriculum Framework gives greater emphasis to a customised curriculum, with new life skills training for all students, enhanced opportunities for industry internships and periods of study abroad with outstanding universities right around the world. We have also expanded research activity and invested heavily in research leadership,” he said.
"Our employer partners have strongly signalled their approval of the direction Taylor’s is taking. In addition, international students also increasingly view Taylor’s University as a destination of choice,” he added.
Congratulations, Taylor’s University, on this outstanding milestone!
