Ever wondered how a dentist fills a tooth? Do you want to explore medical moulage, the art of creating mock injuries? Curious about forensic fingerprinting techniques?
Tighten your lab coats and put on your surgical masks because International Medical University (IMU) is inviting you to a series of interactive Student Exploratory Workshops designed to give you insights into the world of medicine and health science.
Get your hands dirty and explore the various health science fields by creating plaster tooth models, developing your own air freshener and other exciting hands-on activities.

What you need to know
There will be 3 workshops that you can attend depending on your interests.
(a) Intro to Medicine & Health Sciences
Date: 18 – 19 Dec 2019 (Wed – Thu)
Time: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Price: RM200 (Regular) | RM170 (Early Bird)
Workshop highlights:
- Create your own homemade gel air freshener using simple non-toxic ingredients
- Learn how to make a plaster tooth model using silicone moulds and dental plasters
- Find out about forensic fingerprinting and how it works
(b) Intro to Medicine
Date: 20 Dec 2019 (Fri)
Time: 8am – 5pm
