In conjunction with being named International University of the Year, Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) is granting students who enrol for their January 2018 intake a free 2-week study trip to their Edinburgh campus in Scotland!
What you need to know
The study trip is open to new undergraduate applicants for the January 2018 intake for the following programmes:
- Chemical Engineering
- International Business Management (Marketing, HRM, Enterprise)
- Accounting and Business Finance
- Business Administration
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Project Management
To be eligible for the study trip, you must:
- Submit a complete application, with full payment for your first semester tuition fees to Heriot-Watt by 22 December 2017.
- Be enrolled as a full‐time student for the entire length of the programme and register for all courses according to the university schedule.
- Meet academic progression requirements of the programme of study.
- Not be a holder of Heriot-Watt’s financial hardship scholarship or industry-sponsored scholarship.
The study trip will only cover the cost of flight and accommodation and will take place when you are in your second year onwards. The timing of the trip will be decided by Heriot-Watt.

Enrol as a self-sponsored, full‐time student by 22 December 2017.
