#1. Getting started
First things first, get comfortable. Whether you want to experience our Virtual Education Fair from the comfort of your bed, couch or study desk, the choice is yours. You can even have some snacks and drinks ready beside you in case you get hungry or thirsty. Once you’re all comfy, you’re ready to get started!
To access our virtual education fair, you will need to log into the fair here. If you’ve not registered yourself, and wish to do so, click on ‘’Register For Free Now’’. If you’ve signed up prior to the fair, you may click on ‘’Login’’. Alternatively, you can also choose to participate as a ‘’Guest’’ — but you won’t be able to win prizes.
When you’re a registered user, you’ll be able to stand a chance to win fabulous prizes such as scholarships, an Instax camera and more. Keep reading to find out how you can score these goodies!
#2. You’re here!
Once you’ve signed up or logged in as a registered user or a guest user, you’ll arrive at the virtual lobby. This means you’re in the right place (hurray)!
From here, you can access 2 key areas of the fair — the Info Desk and the Exhibition Hall.
Info Desk
This is where you’ll be able to speak to our team and ask us any questions about the Virtual Education Fair. Don’t be shy to talk to us as our representatives will be more than happy to assist you should you have any queries.
Exhibition Hall
You’ll be spending most of your time here, browsing through the various institutions as you search for one that suits your needs. Upon entering the hall, you can view more universities and colleges by simply clicking the arrow button on the right to go forward and the left arrow button to return to the previous booth.
Once you’ve decided on the university or college that you’re interested in, click on the booth to enter. Each booth will offer you a variety of essential information that will help you decide if the college or university is right for you. This includes:
- An overview of the institute
- Details of the programmes offered
- Information on scholarships and financial aid
- Virtual campus tours
- One-to-one live chat with institution representatives
If you don’t want to read all of the information at once, you can choose to save digital brochures to your Virtual Backpack and send everything to your email once you are done browsing through the fair.
#3. Winning prizes with EduAdvisor giveaways
Here comes the exciting part — the prizes! As part of the fair, there will be numerous prizes up for grabs for all EduAdvisor Virtual Education Fair participants.
As a registered user, you’ll be able to log onto the fair with your details and are automatically eligible for the contest. You’ll be able to accumulate points as you browse and interact on the site and explore the various features available. The more you interact, the higher your chances of winning the prizes. Those with the highest number of points will walk away with an Instax camera or even a scholarship!
All you need to do is be a registered user and you’ll be automatically entered into the lucky draw.
#4. Engaging in conversations in the public chatrooms
Want to have engaging conversations at the fair?
Well, you certainly can!
Our Virtual Education Fair features public chatrooms organised by colleges and universities where you can ask questions in a public setting and see what questions other students have asked universities too. This allows you to gain insights to perspectives that you may not have thought of on your own and glean more information about a course at a particular institution.
Additionally, there will be a live question and answer segment in the public chatrooms by Heriot-Watt University Malaysia’s provost, Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi, from 2pm - 4pm daily. A professor of mechanical engineering and with numerous research awards and honours under his belt, this is a unique opportunity for you to learn more about the field of engineering. So don’t forget to log in then!
Now that you know how to make the most of our EduAdvisor Virtual Education Fair, you’re all set to go! Don’t hesitate to leave us a comment or a message should you have any more queries about the virtual education fair.
See you there!
