Set in a New York police precinct, this workplace comedy follows the on-the-job adventures of Detective Jake Peralta and his colleagues as they try and protect the city. Cybercrime cases — like someone hacking your social media account — have always shocked people and left them questioning how such a thing can happen. Have you ever been curious about how exactly these hackers do their work and gain access to important confidential information? Mr. Robot, starring the award-winning actor Rami Malek (who plays Elliot), will give you a few insights.
Elliot is a cybersecurity engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night who tries to take down the corrupt corporation he works for. While it’s scary knowing that anyone out there can learn everything about you with a few clicks of the mouse, this show will shed some light on how hackers operate so you can see things from a different point of view.

This crime drama is about a team of forensic investigators who are trained to solve criminal cases by analysing a crime scene, collecting evidence and finding the missing pieces that solve the mystery. What can you learn from this show? While not entirely accurate, the series does teach you the basics of forensic science — it has taught millions of fans the importance of blood, saliva and skin as evidence and how they can help solve crimes.
On top of learning new things, watching crime dramas such as this one can also have positive effects on your brain. Imagine being framed for a crime you didn’t commit — and ending up in jail with a death penalty. There’s no way out except to rely on your intelligent engineer brother to break you out and prove you’re not guilty.
Fox’s original series, Prison Break represents the determination of a hardworking man, Michael Scofield, who develops an intricate and detailed plan to save his beloved brother from being executed in prison.
Although this mind-boggling show is an eye-opener about how power can turn people into the worst versions of themselves, it will also teach you things such as the importance of family, friendship, love and loyalty. You will learn that siblings have the closest bonds, no matter how much they fight and that your parents will always do anything for you — no matter how much it hurts them.
